Creative Force
Danielle has a hard time staying in one lane – and truly prefers it that way. Her creative brain follows her everywhere: into the sequences she builds, the playlists she spends way too many hours perfecting, and the way she breaks down a posture. She teaches the precision and discipline of Original Hot Yoga, turns up the music for 26+Tunes, grabs the weights for Yoga Sculpt, slows everything way down for Yin, and in a pinch she’ll sub in for Pilates. Different classes, different energy, same philosophy: show up, pay attention to what your body is telling you, and try the right way.
Danielle first walked into Hot Yoga Auburn as a student in 2005 and fell in love with the practice. In 2009, she traded her career as a design director for nine weeks of teacher training in Palm Desert, California, and came home certified to teach Original Hot Yoga. More than 17 years later, she’s still teaching, still practicing, and still loves the little wins – the moment something finally clicks, a posture feels different, or you realize you’re capable of a little more than you thought. She’ll challenge you when you’re ready, remind you to breathe when you’re making things unnecessarily hard, and give you permission to be kind to yourself.
As HYA+’s Studio Director, Danielle has her hands in just about every corner of the studio. She helps shape the classes, community, brand, and overall HYA+ experience, and has become a go-to person for staff and students alike—all while constantly thinking about what’s next. Outside the studio, she’s a self-employed graphic designer, mom of two, collector of 100+ houseplants, and Pearl Jam fanatic with more than 30 shows under her belt. She once gave her husband a smiley-face tattoo despite having absolutely no business holding a tattoo gun. So really, taking her class is probably the safer way to spend time with her.
